×PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT. By renting or using any mobility device provided by EaziStep LLC (“EaziStep,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”), you (“Renter,” “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms below. If you do not agree, do not proceed with checkout or accept delivery of the equipment.
1. Description of Rental Equipment EaziStep rents used mobility devices, including but not limited to knee scooters and hands-free crutches. Equipment is provided as-is for temporary use. As part of the Pilot Program, EaziStep offers a one-time "Device Swap" (e.g., scooter to hands-free crutch) during the rental period, subject to asset availability.
2. Equipment Condition & Inspection You acknowledge the equipment is used. You agree to inspect the equipment upon delivery. By accepting delivery (either in person or via the 5-minute contactless window), you confirm the equipment appears functional. If you believe the equipment is unsafe, you must decline delivery or stop use immediately and notify EaziStep.
3. Assumption of Risk You understand that using mobility devices involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, loss of balance, equipment malfunction, serious injury, or death. You voluntarily assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with the use or misuse of the equipment.
4. No Medical Advice EaziStep does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are solely responsible for determining if the equipment is appropriate for your condition and whether you should consult a medical professional.
5. Proper Use & Prohibited Actions You agree to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and follow safety instructions. You agree not to modify, adjust, or repair the equipment. Any modification or self-repair immediately voids this agreement and transfers all liability to you.
6. Maintenance & Responsibility EaziStep performs reasonable pre-rental inspection. We do not guarantee equipment will remain free from failure during use. If an issue arises, you must stop use immediately and contact EaziStep.
7. Release & Waiver of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless EaziStep LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims arising from the use or condition of the equipment. This does not apply to claims resulting from EaziStep’s gross negligence.
8. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and defend EaziStep LLC against any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from your use or misuse of the equipment or injury to third parties caused during your rental.
9. Rental Term, Returns & Delivery Logistics
- Billing: Rentals are billed in 30-day blocks.
- Delivery Protocol: Delivery will be scheduled within a 2-hour window. Upon arrival, EaziStep will text a photo of the device at the delivery address. The driver will wait 5 minutes for a confirmation text or in-person contact. If no contact is made, the device will be left, and the rental period begins.
- Abandonment: Failure to return equipment within 7 days of a scheduled return without communication may result in charges for the full replacement cost.
10. Payment Authorization & Card on File By completing checkout, you authorize EaziStep to retain your payment method on file and charge for: Monthly rental fees, Missed delivery fees, Unreturned equipment, or Damage beyond normal wear.
- 11. Governing Law & Venue This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Oregon.

- Once you've found the perfect piece, simply click on the "Book Try-On Appointment" button to proceed.
2. Choose a Try-On date
- After selecting your item, you'll be asked to pick a date and time for your try-on appointment at our store
Please note: The item will be free at checkout for try-on purposes only. You are not required to make any payment for the item at this stage.
3. Enter your details at checkout
- Fill in your name, phone number or email address to confirm your booking. We will send you an appointment confirmation with all the details of your visit.
4. Receive appointment reminders
- To help you remember, we'll send you a reminder 24 hours before your scheduled appointment
5. Visit Us at the Store
- On the day of your appointment, simply come to our store at your selected time.
- Our staff will have the item ready for you to try on and assist you with anything you need.
Q&A:
1. What happens if I decide to rent in the store?
If you love the item and decide to rent it, you can complete your rental agreement in-store. If it's not quite right, you're under no obligation to rent, and you can simply leave without any cost.
2. Can I reschedule or cancel the appointment?
If you need to change your appointment or can't make it, don't worry! You can reschedule or cancel directly via our email. Just give us a heads-up, and we'll help you find a new time.

How it Works
- Apply: Complete the mandatory safety waiver and intake form.
- Reserve: Choose your estimated rental duration and checkout. Your security deposit is fully refundable.
- Schedule: Our logistics lead will text you within 24 hours to coordinate your delivery window.
- Receive: We'll text a photo upon arrival and wait 5 minutes for a "thumbs up" or to help you with a quick fitting before heading to our next stop.
- Heal: When you're finished, we pick it up and refund your deposit!
Fitting & Safety Guidance
- Height Range: 4'10" – 6'6" (Adjustable pins)
- Weight Limit: Up to 300 lbs (Scooter) / 275 lbs (Hands-Free Crutch)
- General Guidance: Ensure your "good leg" is at a 90-degree angle when resting on the device. Always wear closed-toe shoes during use.
